The awards ceremony will take place on 16 March at the Teatr Wielki, Warsaw. The awards committee will hand out the Leon Wójcikowski Award for lifetime achievements and special services to dance in Poland, the Bronislava Nijinska Award for best Polish dance piece, the Barbara Bittenrówna Award for outstanding performance, the Conrad Drzewiecki Award for best dance debut, the Olga Sawicka Award to a talented young dancer aged 16–20, and the Janina Jarzynówna-Sobczak Award to an outstanding educator, journalist, theoretician and promoter of dance.
Winners will receive statuettes in the shape of miniature copies of the monument In Honour of Polish Ballet Artists by Zbiegniew Stanuch unveiled in October 2016 by the Teatr Wielki, Warsaw, and the amount of 10 000 Polish zloty.
Young dancers nominated for the Olga Sawicka Award will also receive 5 000 zloty founded by the director of Centrum Edukacji Artystycznej.

Liliana Kowalska, former head of the ballet companies of the Łódź Grand Theatre and the Poznań Opera House, artistic director of the Olga Sławska-Lipczyńska Ballet School in Poznań
Edyta Kozak, president of the Body/Mind Foundation, Warsaw
