The premiere prelude concert George Bizet For the First Time on 27 May 2018 will unuasually for the series take place on the opera house's main stage, at the Moniuszko Auditorium with the accompaniment of a symphony orchestra. Preceding the premiere of a new production of Bizet's Carmen, the concert will feature works by Cezary Franck, Georges Bizet, and Hector Berlioz performed by Plemena Mangova (piano) and the Orchestra of the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera under its music director Grzegorz Nowak.
