Come to the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera during the Night of Museums on 14 May 2016! It is the last chance to see the fashion exhibition At the Feet of Opera presenting awe-inspiring shoes that came into being in the opera house’s shoemaking shops. On display are shoes made for a horse appearing in Puccini’s La bohème, Donna Anna’s shoes from Mozart’s Don Giovanni designed by Arkadius, and a huge collection of footwear by Andrzej Kreutz Majewski. The exhibition closes at the end of the week.
Also on show on Saturday night will be Wonders of Theatre held by the Theatre Museum, among them some precious memorabilia associated with artists of the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera and its productions.
Both of the exhibitions as well as the selling stand near the Opera Gallery will be open from 7 pm to 1 am. Enter through the pre-sales box office lobby.
Last but not least, the third of the exhibitions on display during the Night of Museums presents top Polish singers of the turn of the 19th and 20th century. Called Legendary Voices, it will be open for viewing from 10 pm to 1 am. Enter directly from Wierzbowa Street.
