Other members of the production team are Treliński's regular collaborators: Boris Kudlička, Marek Adamski (costumes), Tomasz Wygoda (choreography), Felice Ross (lighting director), Bartek Macias (video projections), Piotr Gruszczyński (dramaturge). The orchestra will be directed by Heiko Mathias Förster, German conductor who has performed with the Berlin Philharmonic, orchestra of the Gran Teatre Del Liceu, and a range of opera stars, such as: Rolando Villazón, Elina Garanča, and Angela Gheorghiu. The production features: Tomasz Konieczny (Jochanaan), Polish bass-baritone and an emerging star of international stages, Gun-Brit Barkmin (Salome), Jacek Laszczkowski (Herodes), and Veronika Hajnová (Herodias).
Mariusz Treliński's previous production debuted in December 2013 and was a double bill of Iolanta by Pyotr Tchaikovsky and Bluebeard's Castle by Béla Bartók. In January 2015 the production will premiere at the Metropolitan Opera in New York as the first opera by a Polish director to be staged at the prestigious venue. It will also be transmitted all over the world as part of The Met: Live in HD.
Salome will be shown in Prague on: 23, 26, 29 October; 25 November; 7 December 2014; 17, 23 May and 17 June 2015. The production will debut in Poland in the following seasons.
