Krzysztof Warlikowski has collaborated with the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera, directing such operas as Giuseppe Verdi's Don Carlos (2000), Paweł Mykietyn's Ignorant i szaleniec (2001), Krzysztof Penderecki's Ubu Rex (2003), and Alban Berg's Wozzeck (2006).
