This Tuesday marks the World Ballet Day, a celebration of dance introduced in 2014 by The Royal Ballet, The Australian Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet, The National Ballet of Canada and San Francisco Ballet. This year The Polish National Ballet has been invited to take part in the annual live-stream from the world's top ballet companies. On Tuesday, 4 October between 12:45 pm and 1:15 pm on the Facebook page of the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera we will stream a broadcast presented in English by Robin Kent, PNB's soloist, who will take the audience for a behind-the-scenes tour of the opera house, including a sneak peek of a rehearsal for La Bayadère. It the run-up to the event, PBN's dancer Aneta Wira will post photos and videos of our artists' daily life on our Instagram account.
