'Fokine’s Chopiniana offers the quintessence of romantic ballet: variations and two pas de deux. Its finale is an explosion of motion that brings to mind fast river current. '[When staging Moving Rooms in Poland for the first time] I decided to keep the original, English title I gave the ballet when I created it in 2008 for the Dutch National Ballet in Amsterdam. By Moving Rooms I meant shifting spaces. The piece is a play of moods and emotions presented against the backdrop of dynamic lightning.' (Krzysztof Pastor)
