Give an ear to Moniuszko
Educational classes for children aged 6–9 led by Karolina Tańska and Anna Parysz
These music workshops dedicated to primary school pupils focus on the work of Stanisław Moniuszko, whose bicentenary is celebrated this year. The workshops aim to boost children's creativity as they are actively involved in the process of making music. Direct interaction with live music performed by a singer and pianist will stimulate the participants musical sensitivity and awareness. They will be introduced to selection of songs from Moniuszko's Songbook for Home Use and try to transport themselves into the world of their protagonists with the use of sounds and theatrical props. They will perform The Spinner to the accompaniment of musical instruments, play for the dancing Imp, and stage the ballad about Prince Mangus and Trolla.
