Programme

Stage 1 (with piano):

• one opera aria from the 18^th or 19^th century,
• one Polish song from the 19^th or 20^th century (sung in Polish or translation).

Stage 2 (with piano):

• one opera aria from the 18^th or 19^th century, not performed in Stage 1,
• one opera aria from the 19^th or 20^th century,
• one song from the world repertoire from the 19^th or 20^th century.

Stage 3 (with orchestra):

• one Polish opera or oratorio aria (sung in Polish or translation) OR opera, oratorio or operetta aria of Stanisław Moniuszko (sung in Polish or translation)
• one opera aria from the world repertoire, not performed in previous Stages

Polish songs and arias may be sung in Polish or in any language selected by the Participant.

Arias must be performed in the original key.

Songs may be transposed.

The programme performed should be selected from the Repertoire List (Schedule 3 to the Rules and Regulations), but not exclusively. 

Participants may perform works not included in the Repertoire List, provided that they receive permission from the Director of the Competition.
