Anna Adamek graduated from the Secondary School of Visual Arts in Zakopane and the Faculty of Stage Design of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. She currently teaches at her alma mater as an assistant lecturer at Professor Marek Chowaniec's Stage Design Studio and at the Warsaw School of Arts.
She has collaborated with Wawrzyniec Kostrzewski (Mrożek's Tango, 2023; Shakespeare's King Lear, 2021; Same Plusy, 2019; VICTORIA/True Woman Show, 2021; Alice in Wonderland, 2022), Magdalena Małecka-Wippich (Dziób w Dziób for Teatr Telewizji, 2019), Jarosław Gajewski (Żywot Józefa, 2018 and Historyji o chwalebnym Zmartwychwstaniu Pańskim, 2021), Gabriel Gietzki (The Chronicles of Narnia. The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, 2019), Borys Lankosz (Autor Solaris, a biographical movie, 2016), Agnieszka Maskovic (Wizyta for Teatr Telewizji, 2015).
Anna Adamek has worked for the Polski, Dramatyczny, Ateneum and Komedia in Warsaw, Osterwy in Lublin, Żeromskiego in Kielce, Mickiewicza in Częstochowa, and the musical theatres in Gdynia, Lublin and Warsaw.
She took part in Coming Out Best Diploma Works at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 2014, Costume at the Turn of the Century 1990–2015, World Stage Design Students' Works and the International Stage Design Students' Works Exchange in Beijing, where she presented her stage deigns for A Midsummer Night's Dream (supervisor: Professor Marcin Jarnuszkiewicz) and costume designs for Orfeo ed Euridice (supervisor: Professor Dorota Kołodyńska).
