Ewa Zeuner, the Polish born alto, received her vocal studies at the Hochschule für Musik Carl-Maria von Weber in Dresden with Professor Christian Elßner. She graduated from the concert singing class in 2003 with honours. She participated in master-classes with Peter Schreier and Elisabeth Schwarzkopf.
Church music concerts have taken her to many German and international orchestras and ensembles, including Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden, Dresdner Kreuzchor, Dresdner Kapellsolisten, Gächinger Kantorei Stuttgart, Capella Cracoviensis. She has performed recitals with international songs in numerous concerts in Germany and other European countries. Her concert repertoire includes the great works of J. S. Bach, G. Fr. Händel and W. A. Mozart, Felix Mendelssohn’s Oratorios, Verdi’s Requiem as well as some works of contemporary music.
In addition to the concert activity, she also sang several opera parts, for example Wagner’s Kundry in Parsifal (2014/2015 Croatian National Theater Zagreb), Krystina in the opera The Passenger by Weinberg (2016/2017 Semperoper Dresden), Marthe in Guru by Petitgirard and Ulrica in Verdi's Un ballo in maschera.
At concerts and performances she has worked amongst others with Andrew Parrot, Helmuth Rilling, Christoph Rousset, Tonino Battista, Helmut Branny, Niksa Baresa, Andreas Spering, Johannes Wulff-Woesten and Krzysztof Penderecki.
