
Gabriela Legun's recent successes include a debut at La Monnaie in Brussels in Nostalgia e Rivoluzione, a production featuring works by Verdi, as well as performances as Pamina at Teatro Regio di Torino and Komische Oper Berlin.
In the 2024/25 season, she can be heard at the Polish National Opera in Warsaw as Amelia in Verdi’s Simon Boccanegra, Mimì in Puccini’s La Bohème, Micaëla in Bizet’s Carmen, and Pamina in Mozart’s The Magic Flute. She will also perform as Desdemona in Verdi’s Otello at Teatr Wielki in Poznań and as Mimì and Micaëla at the Baltic Opera.
In the upcoming 2025/26 season, she is set to make her debuts at Staatsoper Hamburg and at Cologne Opera House. She will also return to the Polish National Opera as Mimì in La Bohème and Amelia in Simon Boccanegra.
Gabriela Legun was honored by the Polityka Passport award in the “Classical Music” category for 2024 and the award for Best Female Opera Singer at the Jan Kiepura Music Theatre Awards in 2020.
She is the winner of the 5th International Adam Didur Opera Vocal Competition in 2024 and a laureate of numerous international vocal competitions, having received the Best Female Voice Award at the Concorso Lirico Internazionale di Portofino in 2021, the Most Promising Polish Voice award at the Moniuszko Competition in 2022, and First Prize at the Ada Sari Competition in 2019.
