Julia Kornacka is a fashion designer, stylist, and costume designer. A native of Łódź, Poland, she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in her hometown and worked with top theatres throughout Poland (Stary Theatre in Kraków, National Theatre in Warsaw, Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera, Polski Theatre in Wrocław), in Switzerland (Luzerner Theater), Austria (Schauspielhaus Graz), and Germany (Bayerische Staatsoper). She collaborated with directors such as Paweł Świątek, Wojtek Klemm, Michał Zadara, Barbara Wysocka, Jan Peszek, Iga Garczarczyk, Monika Pęcikiewicz, Krzysztof Garbaczewski, and Anna Badora. She also works as costume designer and stylist for music videos, TV productions, fashion and music projects. She may boast a range of prizes and distinctions, including Grand Prix International Fashion Design Berlin 2003, Habitus Baltija Ryga (2004), Polish Fashion Oscar (2005), and Golden Thread – International Contest for Fashion Designers (2006).
