Kamil Zdebel studied the violin at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski School of Music in Tarnowskie Góry, Poland, subsequently completing vocal studies at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland under Professor Jan Ballarin (2013). While at the Academy, he sang Jontek in a student production of Moniuszko's Halka (the Vilnius version). He has participated in vocal courses led by Wiesław Ochman, Daniel Weeks, and Ryszard Karczykowski. What is more, he took part in the 3rd International Adam Didur Opera Singers' Competition in Bytom, Poland and the 1st International Adam Hiolski Vocal Competition in Kudowa Zdój, Poland.
Kamil Zdebel made his debut at the Gliwice Musical Theatre as Cascada in Lehár's The Merry Widow. He may be heard at the Silesian Opera, singing Ottokar in J. Strauss's The Gypsy Baron, Fred in Loewe's My Fair Lady, Le Dancaïre and Moralès in Bizet's Carmen, Schaunard in Puccini's La Bohème, Mozart's Don Giovanni, Falke in J. Strauss's The Bat, the title role in Yeston's Phantom, Janusz in Moniuszko's Halka, Stanisław in Moniuszko's Verbum nobile, Fifth Boor in Krzysztof Penderecki's Ubu Rex, and Count Danilo in Lehár's The Merry Widow. Moreover, Mr Zdebel has performed with the Silesian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Zabrze Philharmonic Orchestra, the Philharmonic Orchestra of Warmia and Mazury, and the Częstochowa Philharmonic Orchestra. He made two children's recordings for Radio Katowice and took part in a performance of Roger Moreno Rathgeb's Requiem for Auschwitz under Riccardo Sahiti in Auschwitz.
In the 2017/2018 season the artist will take on the role of Moralès in the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera's production of Carmen.
