Nina Minasyan was born in Armenia and became a soloist at the Yerevan Opera Studio Conservatory in 2010. Winner of the Tatevik Sazandaryan and Pavel Lisitsian singing competition in 2011, she enrolled in the program for young artists of the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow and perfected her under the guidance of Elena Obraztsova, Evgeny Nesterenko, Lyubov Orfenova, Mzia Bachtouridze and Diane Zola.
Nina made her stage debut at the Bolshoi Theatre as Xenia in Boris Godunov, and went on to perform in productions as The Queen of Spades, The Love for Three Oranges, Prince Igor, L'Enfant et les sortilèges, and Cosi fan tutte. She has also performed in concerts at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow and at New York's Carnegie Hall.
Among the engagements for the 2025/26 season: role of Olympia in Les Contes de Hoffmann at the Staatsoper in Berlin and Gilda in Rigoletto at the Opernhaus in Zurich.
She recently performed in Lucia di Lammermoor at the Carlo Felice in Genoa and Zurich, Rigoletto at the Wiener Staatsoper, The Tale of Tsar Saltan in Madrid, La traviata in Japan and in Pamplona, La traviata in Dresden, as Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi in Montecarlo, in L'Elisir d'amore at the Regio di Parma, and in Pelléas et Melisande at the Liège Opera
