Paolo Lardizzone began studying singing under the direction of Maestro Giacomo Rocchetti, subsequently training with M° Nazzareno Antinori at the Academy Beniamino Gigli in Recanati and then with M° Giorgio Merighi in Jesi.In 2013 he participated in a masterclass led by M° Renato Bruson.
He was directed by M° Z. Mehta, M° Carlo Palleschi, M° Gelmetti, M° Andrea Sanguineti, M° Ivo Lipanovic, M° N. Baxa , M° Oliver Dovhnany, M° T. Fabio Mastrangelo, M° Niska Bareza, M° Massimo Alessio Taddia, M° Mauro Roveri.
His repertoire includes roles in Rigoletto, La Traviata, Il Trovatore, Macbeth, Vespri siciliani, Tosca, Madama Butterfly, La Rondine, La Bohème, Manon Lescaut, Turandot, Carmen, Lucia di Lammermoor, Aida. He was Mario Cavaradossi in Tosca at the Teatro Lirico di Spoleto, the Duke of Mantua in Rigoletto, Alfredo Geormont in La Traviata at the Beijing Music Festival in Beijing, Radames in Aida at the Cairo Opera House, Rodolfo in La Bohème at the Palais de la Music in Strasbourg, Faust in Mefistofele at HNK Split, Don José in Carmen, and Manrico in Il Trovatore at Revolving Teather in Česky Krumlov. In Pilsen, Czech Republic he was Puccini's Edgar and Canio in Leoncavallo's Pagliacci, which was very well received by audiences and critics. For his portrayal of Edgar he was nominated for a Thalia, the Czech Actors' Association award.
