Born in 1989 in Warsaw, Poland, Robert Wasiewicz graduated from the Ludwik Solski Academy for the Dramatic Arts in Kraków, having studied at the academy’s Dance Theatre Department in Bytom. From 2009 to 2012 he was a guest dancer with the Silesian Dance Theatre. In 2012 he won the acting award at the Drama Schools’ Festival in Łódź. In 2013 he received a fellowship from the Alternative Dance Academy in Poznań. Currently, he collaborates with directors and choreographers open to different artistic forms and genres. In 2013‒2015 he worked with: Krzysztof Garbaczewski (Podwórko, Łódź 4 Cultures Festival), Tomasz Rodowicz and Marcin Cecko (Muzg, Chorea Theatre), Natalia Korczakowska (Dziady III, Dramatyczny Theatre, Białystok), Michał Borczuch (Faust, Polski Theatre, Bydgoszcz), Marta Ziółek (Smells like fashion, Academy of Fine Arts, Warsaw), Kaya Kołodziejczyk (Tit Anic, TR Warszawa), Cezary Tomaszewski (Piosenki miłości i śmierci, Cricoteka), and Barbara Wiśniewska (Bezwietrzne Lato, Bałtycki Teatr Dramatyczny, Koszalin). He has developed a few original projects with young people of his hometown. He is interested in photography.
