Sylwia Salamońska holds a Master's degree from the Ignacy Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań, Poland (2022), where she studied under Professor Wojciech Maciejowski and won rector's scholarships for leading students and a Maja Urbanek–Jaworowicz scholarship for promising young singers. While still a student she sang the roles of Zosia in Moniuszko's Phantoms, Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro, Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi, and Rózia in Lessel's Pielgrzym z Dobromilu.
At the beginning of the 2023/24 season she joined the Opera Academy Young Talent Development Programme of the Polish National Opera in Warsaw, where she has been honing her skills under Izabella Kłosińska, Olga Pasicznyk, Katelan Trân Terrell, and Michał Biel. She has also taken part in masterclasses led by Adrian Kelly, Hedwig Fassbender, Helmut Deutsch, Maciej Pikulski, Jolanta Żmurko, Mariusz Kwiecień, Sophia Munoz, and Edith Wiens.
She won First Prize at the Suwałki International Singing Competition (Poland), Third Prize at the Giulio Perotti International Singing Competition in Ueckermunde (Germany), Third Prize and special award at the Iuventus Canti Competition in Vrable (Slovakia), and was a finalist of the Riccardo Zandonai competition in Riva del Garda (Italy) and the Mikuláš Schneider-Trnavský competition in Trnava (Slovakia).
In January 2024 she makes her debut as Dircé's First Confidante in Simone Stone's production of Médée at the Polish National Opera.
