Dutch lighting designer. He works in stage disciplines such as dance, opera, drama, music theatre, but also architecture. He also provides lighting designs for museums and creates his own light art. He started his career as a freelance lighting technician and went on to develop as a designer. He closely collaborated with various international lighting designers, directors and choreographers who worked with the Dutch National Opera and Dutch National Ballet. He followed a two-year coaching course at the Instituut Lichtontwerpen, founded by lighting designer Henk van der Geest, thereby he could deepen the content of his designs and thus expand his field of work. He has created lighting designs for various opera, ballet and theatre productions, various special events, and exhibitions. His designs have been commissioned by Centraal Museum Utrecht, O. Festival (Opera Days Rotterdam), Dutch National Ballet and Dutch National Opera, among others.
