Zuzanna Nalewajek is a graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where she studied under Izabela Kłosińska. Between 2018 and 2023 she was a member of the Opera Academy Young Talent Development Programme of the Polish National Opera, where she trained with such renowned artists as Olga Pasichnyk, Mariusz Kwiecień, Eytan Pessen, Matthias Rexroth, and Tomasz Konieczny.
Ms Nalewajek won Fifth Prize at the Veronica Dunne International Singing Competition in Dublin and a special prize at the 11th International Stanisław Moniuszko Vocal Competition in Warsaw. In 2021 she won First Prize at the 12th Klaudia Taev Competition in Estonia as well as a honourable mention and a special award at the 19th Ada Sari Vocal Artistry Competition in Nowy Sącz, Poland. In 2019, together with pianist Piotr Jaworski, she won First Prize at the 6th LiedDuo Competition in Sofia, Bulgaria.
In 2021 she made her debut at the Wrocław Opera, singing Dorabella in Mozart's Così fan tutte. At the Polish National Opera she sang in Puccini's Madame Butterly (Suzuki), Mozart's The Magic Flute (Second Lady),Meyer's Dead End, Jarecki's Barbara Radziwiłł (concert version), and a New Year's Eve Gala. She also could be heard as Massenet's Cendrillon at the National Taichung Theatre, Taiwan, Kaunas State Musical Theatre, Lithuania, and Endla Theatre in Pärnu, Estonia. She was Isabella in Rossini's L'Italiana in Algeri at the Polish Royal Opera and Cherubino in Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro at the Wrocław Opera.
The artist has worked with such conductors as Patrick Fournillier, Chin-Chao Lin, Adam Banaszak, Bassem Akiki, and Łukasz Borowicz, and such directors as Laurent Pelly, André Heller-Lopes, Marek Weiss, Jitka Stokalska, Ewa Rucińska, and Jüri Nael.
