Costume painters

The opera house may boast the only costume painting workshop in Poland. It developes new costumes and fabrics. Sometimes they need to be adorned, but sometimes made to look old and tarnished, depending on the costume designer's concept and the character. Shoes, dresses, coats, hats: all of these are given a makeover at the costume making workshop. The crafstmen use a variety of techniques (hand painting, stamping, screen painting) and paints (for silk, wool, leather, or acrylic ones) to make the final effect breath-taking.
