Pastor's ballet danced to musical fragments selected from Wojciech Kilar's rich ouevre and arranged by Michael Brett to fit the choreography opened in Perth last year. This spring it raked up five 2018 Performing Arts WA Awards nominations for: Best Production, Best New Work, Best Stage Design, Best Costume Design, and Best Composition and Arraging.
The awards ceremony took place on 29 April, the International Dance Day, at the State Theatre Centre, Perth. Dracula was named the best new dance work in West Australia, while Charles Cusick Smith and Michael Brett picked up their awards for best costume design and music arrangement, respectively.
