Originally created for West Australian Ballet in Perth, the ballet has already been staged at the Latvian National Ballet in Riga, Queensland Ballet in Brisbane, and the Polish National Ballet. On 1 March it enters the repertoire of the Finnish National Ballet's repertoire. Designed by Charles Cusick Smith and Phil R. Daniels, the sets and costumes have been loaned to the Helsinki company by their Polish counterpart. The rehearsals were run by Mr Pastor's assistants, Simonetta Lysy and Cédric Ygnace, while Maestro Patrick Fournillier will conduct the orchestra of the Finnish National Opera.
