Affiliated with the Polish National Opera, the Artos Children's Choir gave more than 30 performances at the Teatr Wielki last season.
The ensemble is seeking boys and girls aged six and over. An open rehearsal will take place on 21 September. To take part, please apply by 20 September to towarzystwomuzyczneartos@gmail.com.
Founded by Danuta Chmurska in 2010, the Artos Children's Choir draws on the legacy left by its patron, Władysław Skoraczewski – once a soloist of the Warsaw Opera, scout instructor, and a prominnet youth educator – who encouraged children's natural interactions with music.
