This year's workshop brings choreographic miniatures from nine dancers of our company: Eduard Bablidze, Robert Bondara, Michał Chróścielewski, Tomasz Fabiański, Paulina Jurkowska, Adam Kozal, Lachlan Phillips, Kristóf Szabó, and Kurusz Wojeński. The workshop is open to all PNB dancers who are willing to create new choreographic works or perform in them, but also to coordinate various technical matters associated with producing a performance.
This is what Krzysztof Pastor, director of the PNB and initiator of Creations writes about the project: 'When introducing the annual choreographic workshop for the Polish National ballet's dancers I didn't expect the results to be so positive. The six previous editions resulted not only in a few dancers putting on their choreographies at the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera, but also having been noticed and engaged by other Polish and international companies. Here I mean in particular Robert Bondara, Anna Hop, and Jacek Tylski, but other new talents are waiting in the wings as well.'
