Dear Audience Members,
Determined to bring you our shows as scheduled despite the staff shortages we are facing due to the coronavirus pandemic, we have decided to go ahead with the upcoming run of Rigoletto in a semi-staged version. All the action will occur in the Duke of Mantua’s palace and on the proscenium (not moving to the Mantua street in Scene 2 of Act 1 and the tavern in Act 3). All the performers – singers, dancers, and extras – will appear in full costume and makeup. Conductors: Andriy Yurkevych (18, 18, 20 Feb.) and Piotr Staniszewski (22 Feb.).
While ticket holders retain the right to claim a refund, we hope that you will decide to join us at the opera house for a night of Giuseppe Verdi’s music.
