YUKA EBIHARA BIDS FAREWELL TO THE STAGE
The Japanese star of our ballet company has decided to end her stage career. She will bid farewell to the audience on 22 December, dancing Marguerite Gautier in the final performance of John Neumeier's The Lady of the Camellias.

Jaeeun Jung and Ryota Kitai named Best Dancers of 2024
The 2024 Jan Kiepura Awards were held on 30 September to recognise achievement in music theatre. The Polish National Ballet's artists came out victorius again, with the awards for Best Female Classical Dancer and Best Male Classical Dancer going to Jaeeun Jung and Ryota Kitai, respectively.

Polish National Ballet in the 2024/25 season
This season our ballet company treats its audiences to two new ballet productions: Clug's Peer Gynt set to music by Grieg and Pastor's Prometheus with a score combining Glass and Mozart pieces, while revivals include Neumeier's The Lady of the Camellias danced to Chopin's music.

He was a great talent of British ballet. To us he gave a beautiful choreographic take on Chopin’s Concerto in E minor. Liam Scarlett died on 16 April 2021 in his hometown of Ipswich. He was only 35.

FELIKS MALINOWSKI DIED IN PARIS
Feliks Malinowski, our 1960s danseur noble, died on 30 August 2018 in Paris at the age of 82. He debuted on the Warsaw stage in 1959 and was Teatr Wielki's first soloist from 1966 to 1970.

New Ballet Based on Gombrowicz
